Country Day School

Scenework Designed for the Drama and Music Departments at this private school, the Performing Arts Centre contains a 350-seat flexible theatre. The Centre also includes a rehearsal hall, music and drama classrooms a midi lab and practice room. In addition, the centre includes a workshop, stage pit and wardrobe maintenance room.

The 32,000 square foot theatre is designed with a floor that can be set up in various arrangements to yield theatre-in-the-round, proscenium, and flat floor configurations. Seating is a combination of raked retractable and fixed. SCENEWORK provided the stage rigging, custom and acoustical drapery and track for this project.
